He tumbled at the horses feet alsoe,

And now Erle Ethelbert and Egward came
Brave Mervyn from the Normannes to assist;
A myghtie siere, Fitz Chatulet bie name,

And Ethelbert at Walleris set his;
And Egwald dyd the siere a hard blowe hytt,
